Albert suffered from a loose crown and a painful tooth infection, which made it difficult for him to do his job, requiring him to take breaks during calls to manage the pain. After realizing that his issue required more than what a general dentist could offer, he sought out Dr. Loh for a solution.
From the moment he arrived, Albert was impressed by the efficiency and personal care he received, and after undergoing treatment, including a bone graft and preparing for an implant, he felt more confident and pain-free in his daily life.
Albert: I was having issues with a crown that came loose initially. I do a lot of talking on the phone. I work in the pharmacy, so I have to deal with customers all day. I had to get off the phone sometimes because the pain was just so bad, and I told them, “Can you please hold? I need to go, get some Orajel or something on this.” Overall, it was just painful.
Dr. Li Hsing Loh: Albert had a broken tooth that was giving him pain. He had a small infection around that tooth, as well. I recommended that we remove this tooth and put a bone graft so that we can prepare to replace his tooth in the future. I also talked to him about replacing this tooth because it’s a tooth that he relies on with chewing. We ultimately decided to replace his tooth with a dental implant.
Albert: I’m the kind of person that does research before I do anything, so I knew I had to get something done, and it was more than just an average dentist can do because an average dentist did this.
It was strange because I came in, and at time that I came in, they’re just like, “Hey, you’re Albert?” “Yes.” “We got you checked in. You’re ready to go. Just have a seat.” I’ve never experienced something like that before. Most doctors are like, “Have a seat. We’ll get you in 10, 15, 20 minutes.” Here, it was very quick.
Dr. Loh was very patient and very kind. I was very nervous, coming in. I never had something like this happen. He wasn’t like an average doctor or dentist. He was very personal, very “I want to know about you, what happened. Let’s get all the information that we can so we can go forward with the treatment, what we need to do, and find out what we need to do about it.” When I started getting this feeling about him being very personal, very close to the whole situation, I was happy. I was very comforted.
Since this all happened, and I got it all corrected, everything has gone uphill for me. Everything’s going better for me. I feel more confident, I feel more able.
