The Smile Reclamation Experts

A feeling of self-consciousness every time you speak. Eating nothing but soft foods. Sound familiar? If so, there’s hope for your disappearing smile. Full mouth dental implants have dramatically improved our ability to replace missing teeth, even for those with jawbone loss and no healthy teeth left.

Using advanced digital imaging, cutting-edge surgical techniques and featuring a fully digital lab, we can fully replace your upper or lower arches of teeth on a strong foundation of as few as four dental implants. This allows you to say goodbye to poorly fitting conventional dentures and welcome a new, full set of permanent teeth. Change your life for the better with full mouth dental implants in Flower Mound, Frisco, and Denton, TX.

Having placed more than 3,000+ dental implants—a number that’s growing every day—and considering our exceptional qualifications, the Texas Center for Oral Surgery & Dental Implants is the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex’s premier destination for full mouth dental implants. As both oral and maxillofacial surgeons and medical doctors, we completed six years of post-dental school specialty training. This included hospital-based surgical residencies and extensive dental implant education. We’re also proud to be board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as certified to administer IV sedation. We’ll help you reclaim your smile so you can fully enjoy life again.

Full Arch Solutions - Dr. Vickers Discusses Which Option is Right For You

Full Arch Solutions

Traditional dentures have been in use for many years and are an acceptable tooth replacement solution for some. However, others find they have too many drawbacks. They can come loose at inopportune times and also tend to irritate your gums. Implant supported dentures, which we offer, provide much greater stability. Attached to your gums with dental implants, they won’t slip or cause gum irritation. The most dependable option we offer is full mouth dental implants. They look, feel, and function just like genuine teeth—and are built to last. We use state-of-the-art techniques and high-quality dental implants to ensure they do.

Three Phases of Full Mouth Dental Implants

Phase 1: Consultation, Exam, and Planning

Phase 1: Consultation, Exam, and Planning

The first phase of your treatment is where we do a full consultation, get detailed records, and fully assess your current health. We also capture digital images, pictures, and impressions of your gums, bone density, and remaining teeth to aid us in the development of your treatment plan. X-Guide™ software provides us with a roadmap to place your implants with extreme precision. Using cone beam CT imaging technology and implant planning software, we can create a virtual 3D model of your mouth before the implant procedure. We then use this to fabricate custom surgical guides in-house with our 3D printer. When we’re performing the placement, the guide identifies the exact position and angle of each dental implant, enabling us to deliver highly predictable results. With planning complete, we’ll schedule your procedure for the next visit.

Phase 2: Implant Placement and Temporary Restoration

Phase 2: Implant Placement and Temporary Restoration

In the second phase of the procedure, our team will complete the surgical placement of four or more dental implants and attach temporary teeth in our fully equipped surgical suite. Using the All-on-4® and Pro Arch protocols, we can perform most surgeries without the need for bone grafting.  We begin the process by making you comfortable with anesthesia options. Among our services, we offer IV sedation, which essentially allows you to sleep through your treatment. We can then complete any tooth extractions you need to remove untreatable teeth and make room for your implants.

Your surgical guides will be placed over your gums before we insert as few as four implants into each jawbone. The guides have holes that show us precisely where to put the implants. We finish off the placement process by attaching temporary restorations to your implants the same day. You should be able to have a soft meal by dinnertime and will soon be able to enjoy normal meals while your implant sites heal.

Phase 3: Final Restorations and Full Smile

Phase 3: Final Restorations and Full Smile

After implant placement, healing can take three months or more. During that time, your implants will permanently fuse with the jawbone. With that process complete, your restorative dentist will provide your final restorations. We consider the dental implant process a team-oriented effort between us and your restorative dentist. Our separate offices coordinate your treatment through steady communication, ensuring a smooth continuity of care with the results you want to see. Once our collective work is done, you’ll be able to eat, speak, and smile with full confidence and without any limitations. After living with so many missing or unhealthy teeth, think about how that will feel!
