Single & Multiple Dental Implants

One Appointment, Zero Smile Gaps

2,000+ Happy Smiles Reclaimed Here

Whether you have one missing tooth or many, the results are the same: Loss of normal dental function, health, and even self-esteem. Dental implants make it possible to fully recover from tooth loss in a way that can positively impact many aspects of your life. What’s more, with immediate dental implants, you can see that change after one surgical appointment. A finished dental implant is permanent and can be made to look natural and attractive from all angles. There’s very little visual distinction between an implant and a natural tooth. Dental implants will improve the longevity of your other remaining teeth, as well. They’re the path back to a normal, comfortable life.

With more than 2,000 placements to date, the Texas Center for Oral Surgery and Dental Implants is the premier practice for multiple implants or just a single dental implant in Flower Mound and Denton, TX. Our oral and maxillofacial surgeons completed six years of advanced training after dental school that included hospital-based surgical residencies and earning medical degrees. Dental implants were a core part of this training. Our team didn’t stop there; both became board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. We’re also licensed to administer IV sedation. Dental implants can transform your life. Why trust your transformation to anyone but the most highly qualified doctors?

Personalized Consultation and Planning

Wondering if you’re a candidate for dental implants? Most of our patients are. We can determine your eligibility during a personalized consultation here in our office. This includes a discussion of your smile goals, a comprehensive dental examination, and imaging. We capture detailed 3D images of the proposed treatment area using our low-radiation cone beam CT (CBCT) scanner. This enables us to determine the full extent of your surgical needs and plan out precise treatment.

During this visit we also obtain specifications that we’ll use to create your surgical guides. Custom-fabricated in-house with our 3D printer, these guides provide a roadmap that empowers us to place your implants quickly and with exceptional precision. They’ll be ready for you when you come for your next visit.

Precise Guided Implant Placement

During your surgical visit we take measures to ensure your jawbone is strong enough to support implants. If you’ve suffered bone loss—a common complication of tooth loss—we’ll rebuild and reinforce your jawbone through bone grafting. We can also provide any necessary tooth extractions at that time.

With preparatory treatments out of the way, we surgically insert the titanium posts of the implants into your jawbone using your customized surgical guide. We can complete this surgery here in our office using local anesthetic or IV sedation. We only use high-quality and trusted implant systems including those by Straumann® and Nobel Biocare™. We offer immediate load solutions when requested by your restorative dentist, meaning you can receive temporary restorations here the same day you receive your implants. No separate appointment or visit to a different practice is needed!

Final Steps

During the healing process, your dental implants will permanently fuse with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration. Once your healing is complete, you will be ready for your final restorations. The dental implant process is a team-oriented effort between our oral and maxillofacial surgeons and your restorative dentist, who will provide your final restorations. With these in place, you can resume a normal life with a full set of healthy, attractive teeth!
