Get Your Health Back With Targeted TMJ & Sleep Apnea Care

TMJ disorders and sleep apnea often go together.

Nighttime clenching and grinding can be your body’s attempt to open the airway.

Treating both the joint and the airway protects your teeth and reduces pain, headaches, and fatigue.

The Limitations of Traditional TMJ and Sleep Apnea Care

Many patients with jaw pain, headaches, or fatigue are given quick fixes—pain medication, bite guards from the store, or night guards made without proper diagnosis.

These options may mask symptoms temporarily, but they don’t treat the root cause in the jaw joints, muscles, or airway. Over time, untreated TMJ dysfunction or sleep apnea can progress to chronic pain, bite changes, tooth wear, and even degenerative joint disease.

At Texas Center, we believe lasting relief starts with precision diagnosis and personalized therapy. Our comprehensive TMJ and Sleep Solution looks beyond surface symptoms to address how your jaw, muscles, and airway function together – helping you restore balance, reduce pain, and reclaim healthy sleep.

Generic care offers short-term comfort. True healing takes thoughtfulness and precision. Discover how Texas Center’s TMJ & Sleep Solution restores lasting balance, comfort, and restful sleep.

Understanding Your Condition

The Three Phases Of Your TMJ & Sleep Apnea Treatment

Phase 1: Preparation

Your path to relief starts with a detailed evaluation. During your first visit, NP Brittany Sanford will review your health history, symptoms, and goals before performing a thorough head, neck, and jaw exam.

We’ll take advanced diagnostics—such as a Cone Beam CT scan (a low-radiation 3D X-ray), digital impressions, and bite and airway analysis—to pinpoint the true source of your pain or sleep issues.

If sleep apnea is suspected, we’ll coordinate a comfortable home sleep study with a board-certified sleep physician. With all data in hand, we’ll build a personalized treatment plan designed to restore balance, reduce pain, and improve sleep quality.

Phase 2: Active Treatment

Once we understand the root cause of your condition, we begin targeted, conservative care. You’ll receive a custom medical-grade oral appliance designed to relax your jaw joints, correct bite alignment, and open your airway.

Therapy may also include laser treatment to reduce inflammation, guided exercises, and -when needed- injections or medication to speed healing. For patients with confirmed sleep apnea, we coordinate airway treatments such as oral appliance therapy or CPAP in partnership with sleep specialists.

Each step is monitored closely. NP Sanford will make adjustments as your symptoms improve, ensuring you move toward pain-free function and restful sleep.

Phase 3: Protection & Stability

As your symptoms resolve, we transition from active treatment to long-term protection. This may include night-only appliance wear, routine maintenance visits, and continued coaching on posture, breathing, and stress management.

Our goal is long-term stability—keeping your jaw joints healthy, your airway open, and your pain from returning. We’ll also coordinate with your dentist to fine-tune your bite and protect your teeth and restorations.

With the Texas Center’s TMJ & Sleep Solution, you can finally rest, speak, and live comfortably again – without pain or exhaustion holding you back.

Still Searching for Answers About Your Jaw Pain or Sleep Problems?

Many patients come to us after trying nightguards, medication, or other short-term fixes with no lasting results. Often, the real issue – TMJ dysfunction or airway obstruction – hasn’t been properly diagnosed.

At Texas Center, our board-certified oral surgeons and NP Brittany Sanford specialize in resolving complex TMJ and sleep cases. Using advanced imaging and custom treatment plans, we target the true cause of pain and fatigue, not just the symptoms.

If you’ve been told there’s nothing more to do, schedule a consultation today. We’ll help you find lasting comfort and restful sleep.
