Video Testimonial - Dental Implants

Dawn: I had been to my family dentist and had pain around one of my molars that had already had a root canal. The specialist I saw referred me to Dr. Vickers. He suggested an implant because it was unknown whether a second root canal would be successful or not. He said it was kind of less than a 50/50 shot that another root canal would solve my problem, but coming and getting an implant I knew I wouldn’t have to keep messing with the tooth.

Dr. Vickers: After examining her and looking at her 3d imaging, I was able to identify that she had a fracture in her root. This means that the best course of treatment for her is definitely removal of that tooth and the best thing would be to replace that tooth with a dental implant. So Dawn got started with treatment. We removed the bad tooth. We bone grafted the site, and then a few months later we went back and placed the dental implant. She healed great and now she’s getting her permanent crown.

Dawn: The day of my surgery went really smoothly. I came in, they made me comfortable in the chair, they whisked around me taking blood pressure and hooking everything up and everyone was just friendly, chatting, and making me comfortable. I felt like I received excellent care by Dr. Vickers and by his staff. I never felt rushed through the process. I always felt like my best interest was taken into account. I’m extremely appreciative that they took the time with me to make sure that it was the right procedure for me and done in the right timeframe. I would definitely recommend Texas Center to anybody who needs oral surgery. If it’s wisdom teeth removal, if it’s implants, or any other oral surgery needs I would highly recommend Texas Center for that even though nobody likes to have to go to an oral surgeon it feels a lot better knowing that you’re in competent hands.
